Beyond the Game hosts a variety of signature events throughout the year that reflect our commitment to mentorship, leadership, and community service. From athletic camps and fundraisers to holiday giving initiatives, each event offers opportunities to connect, give back, and make a difference in the lives of youth across our community.
Beyond The Bourbon
Bourbon with the Buckeyes is Beyond the Game’s signature fundraising event serving as an evening that blends community, conversation, and cause. Guests enjoy curated bourbon tastings, live entertainment, and the opportunity to connect with the core Beyond the Game team, supporters, and friends who share our commitment to mentoring and impacting youth across the country. All proceeds support Beyond the Game’s Guys with Ties and Girls with Pearls programs, helping us stimulate growth and development and reach more schools every single year.

Beyond the Game teamed up with NFL wide receiver Ashton Dulin to host a community Back to School Fun Day that celebrated and supported local families as they prepared for the new school year. The event featured free school supplies, haircuts, lunches, music, inflatables, and games, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for kids of all ages. More than just a day of excitement, the event reflected our mission to uplift youth, build confidence, and ensure every child starts the school year ready to succeed both in and beyond the classroom.
Walmart has helped us provide over $100,000 in school and family supplies since 2020, and their continued support makes events like these so much more impactful every year!

Guys With Ties Visit The Woody
Our Guys with Ties students have had the incredible opportunity to tour the world-class Woody Hayes athletic training facility, getting a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to perform at the highest level on and off the field. The visit inspired conversations about leadership, discipline, and teamwork, giving our young men a firsthand look at how hard work and character can open doors to success in any arena.
The Christmas Shopping Spree is one of the most meaningful experiences for our Guys with Ties and Girls with Pearls students. Hosted at Walmart, the event gives participants the chance to enjoy the spirit of the holiday season by receiving funds to shop for Christmas gifts for themselves and their loved ones. For many, it’s a day filled with excitement, gratitude, and joy as an opportunity to celebrate the season in a memorable and personal way.
Since 2020, the Guys with Ties and Girls with Pearls programs have served more than 350 students, helping them grow as confident, compassionate leaders. The Shopping Spree continues to be a highlight each year, reminding everyone involved of the power of kindness and the impact of a community that gives back.
