KICKIN' IT WITH THE GIRLS / JUST KICK IT SOCCER CAMP 

On August 30th 2018, we were able to host 23 girls from the inner city Columbus to our Kickin' with the girls event at Short North Food Hall near Downtown Columbus. We brought in four former College Student Athletes ( Keiana Mitchell, Lauren Stuer, and Cassie Dickerson from Ohio State soccer and also  Alana Gaither from Otterbein University football) to speak to these girls about how to handle to struggles of becoming a female college student-athlete.

 

The young girls were able to also have a great question-answer time to help get guidance from their own personal struggles. After the session, each girl and family got to spend the evening enjoying a live Ohio State University soccer game with the former players. 

 

The following Saturday, we were able to assist Cassie Dickerson with her "Just Kick It" soccer camp that invited 100 kids from Columbus to a free soccer camp. Each kid received not only a camp, but lunch and ball to take home!
